April 8/9, Final Presentations

For the final presentations this week, I believe it is best if we use our Ustream and Skype conferencing setup.
If you have any audio or video that you will be using tonight or tomorrow, it would be best if you sent this to me beforehand.
Once again, here’s the process:
1) You will need a Ustream account and a Skype account. Also, install the latest version of Skype onto your computer.
2) Go to http://www.ustream.tv/channel/open-thinking. Be sure to login. You should be able to hear audio, and see me/and or my screen. There will be an active chat room. Feel free to join in the chat. At this point, I will NOT be able to hear you. Ustream is mostly a one-way broadcast technology.
3) You may connect to me via Skype conference. To do this, launch Skype. Then, turn down the audio from your Ustream Window. There is a volume control right in the Ustream window. Do this first, or we will get feedback. Then, in the space at the top of your Skype window, type (or copy and paste) the following phone number - +9900827046048362 (include the +). You will be able to connect to the conference with me, and we will immediately be able to hear you through Ustream.
4) You may want to be connected the enter time, or you may want to connect only when you want to talk. Just remember that if you leave the Skype conversation, turn up your UStream. If you enter the Skype conversation, mute your Ustream.
